Representatives from Anthem Memory Care appeared before the Planning and Development Commission on March 21, 2016 for their initial public hearing. The minutes from that meeting reflect the overall general opposition from the large neighborhood turnout. During that hearing Isaac Scott, principal of Anthem Memory Care, was asked about the areas surrounding their other facilities and this was his response, as noted on page 7 of the meeting minutes...

Proposed location for the Village of Oak Lawn facility...
Note that this area is zoned as PUD R-1 on the village zoning map. That zoning district is bounded by the railroad tracks/Stony Creek on the north, Central Avenue on the east, 102nd Street on the south (to include the homes on the south side of the street) and Mayfield Avenue/Stony Creek Golf Course on the west. The only non-single family residences inside the district are the First Methodist Church, the Calvin Christian Church, the Southwest Chicago Christian School and its bus depot.
